Kuan Yin Cindy Pujos-Michel
Kuan Yin is a Sufi guide and centre leader living in Banff, Alberta. As a leader of the Spiritual Healing Activity, she is finely tuned to the atmosphere created whenever loving souls gather to offer themselves as conduits for the expression of healing energies. She is immersed in the esoteric aspects of this infinitely subtle and concentrated meditation practice.

In the mists of time, as I began walking the path of life, I found that I was so often drawn toward nature and the spiritual realm. Not that I studied this formally at this time but that there was a 'leaning' in this direction. And so as I began my journey I was attracted to bright baubles of nature or spirituality all along the way. I stopped and picked up these various baubles tucking them away within myself, continuing my journey, looking toward the horizon.
Along the way I met many wonderful and beautiful people - sometimes I walked with them for part of the way on their path and sometimes they joined me on a particular path I was fascinated with at that time. We walked together, hand in hand or often I found myself walking alone.

There would be a knock at the door and sometimes upon opening it I found someone completely unexpected awaiting me bearing gifts too precious to mention.
At a certain point I felt myself being beaconed toward the Buddha fields....opening up that heartfelt culture of love and compassion. I walked on those healing fields and felt the depth, the width and the breath of this space, wanting nothing more.
It was then that nature took me by the hand and led me into the mountains. There I was introduced to the Sufis. I recognized their manner, their ways and their practices and felt again a depth of kinship. I continued my journey high up into the mountains walking hand in hand with the Sufis, overcoming obstacles on my path,
clearing and opening up a space around me, freeing myself with the aid of their love and support.

When sufficient space was cleared, I breathed in and was consumed and overtaken by an enormous wave of light that cleared everything in its path. I was taken away, I was gone................
Upon again breathing in the world of duality I found myself surrounded still by the Sufis. I recognized their manner and their ways and was filled with love and gratitude for their courage, and loving kindness. And so i continued on my journey......no longer looking for the goal but just the journey......the blessings of the journey and the blessedness of the journey.
And here I stand today, walking the path, clearing the way as best I can.......walking hand in hand with the Sufis and awaiting the next step.
